I’ve had quite a bit of success from ghost shrimp in my much younger days but never owned my own pump. I’ve been wanting to make one for quite some time now and now that I’ve got the time and a little help from limestonemedia I’m giving it a shot. I’ll post the finished pics with total time and cost when complete.

Kelp (Calico) Bass
Caught this beast in Batiquitos Lagoon, San Diego. Weighed just over 1 lb but put up a strong fight. Overall, there were 6 total caught in 2 hours.

Batiquitos is a primo nature spot with hiking trails, fishing (only on the rocks under the north end of the 5) and lots of nature watching.

Caught this beast being weighed in at H&M Landing in Point Loma, Ca. This was apparently the JACKPOT(largest) fish caught on a multi-day trip.
